"Why Organic?"

At JET's Dream we promote an organic lifestyle. This includes the clothes we wear and the food we eat. Organic agriculture is a production system that sustains the health of soil, ecosystems and people. Basically what farming organically means is growing without the use of pesticides. We feature of lot of organically grown cotton items at JET's Dream. “OG” cotton, as we refer to it, is free of pesticides, insecticides, weedkillers, fungicides—all very toxic! These chemicals leech into the ground water system, pollute the soil, blow down-wind, and adversely affect the health of workers who grow and handle the cotton. It takes a third of a pound of pesticides to grow the amount of conventionally grown cotton required to make one tee-shirt. One common comment we hear in the store is how good it smells. I’ve often thought perhaps what people smell is not something, but rather the lack of something: CHEMICALS! Also, with organically grown cotton, there are no finishing chemicals. No formaldehyde on our “OG” cotton sheets. We are proud to support farmers who practice a conscientious trade and more than happy to offer it to you, our customers.

Bonus: The “hand” is incredibly soft. Try it, you'll like it!
